ASEAN diharapkan terus memainkan peran utama di menjalankan hubungan dengan negara-negara besar dan&nbsp;saling memperkuat di dalam tengah-tengah syarat-syarat geoekonomi.<\/p>\n<p>Kao juga menyampaikan ASEAN mempunyai kemampuan bertugas sebagai jaringan netral di kerja mirip antara kekuatan global yang mana sedang bersaing. Para pemimpin ASEAN setuju mengadopsi pemberitahuan tentang pengembangan rencana strategis untuk melaksanakan Visi Komunitas ASEAN 2045.<\/p>\n<p>Kao menyatakan para pemimpin ASEAN berperan melakukan penilaian komprehensif terhadap informasi visi komunitas ASEAN 2025 ketika ini. Para pemimpin ASEAN diperlukan menyusun cetak biru dari penilaian komprehensif yang disebutkan dengan tujuan mengembangkan beberapa pelajaran penting lalu praktik terbaik yang digunakan perlu dimasukkan ke di konstruksi komunitas ASEAN.<\/p>\n<p>Kao juga menyebutkan tentang Pendapat ASEAN terhadap Indo-Pasifik yang tersebut menyediakan kerangka kerja yang mana sangat penting bagi ASEAN untuk terlibat sebagai mitra kerja sama, yaitu kerja serupa maritim, tujuan perkembangan berkelanjutan (SDGs), lalu ekonomi.<\/p>\n<p>Laos sebagai negara yang tersebut memegang keketuaan ASEAN 2024 menyelenggarakan rangkaian acara KTT ASEAN ke-44 juga ke-45 ke Vientiane, Laos, dari 6-11 Oktober 2024. Laos mengambil tema &ldquo;ASEAN: Mengoptimalkan Konektivitas serta Ketahanan&rdquo;.<\/p>\n<p>Selanjutnya, Laos akan mengalihkan keketuaan ASEAN untuk Malaysia, yang akan efektif per 1 Januari 2025.
