Alasan Penutupan<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Menurut laporan Reuters pada Rabu (29\/1\/2025), keputusan penutupan ini muncul setelah Presiden Amerika Serikat, Donald Trump, menghentikan sebagian besar bantuan luar negeri pekan lalu. Komite Penyelamatan Internasional (IRC), yang mendanai klinik tersebut dengan dukungan dari AS, telah menginstruksikan agar fasilitas itu ditutup paling lambat pada hari Jumat, 31 Januari.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dampak Terhadap Pengungsi<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Bweh Say, seorang anggota komite pengungsi di kamp Mae La, yang terletak di distrik Tha Song Yang, bersama seorang guru sekolah setempat, mengungkapkan bahwa IRC telah memulangkan sejumlah pasien. Mereka juga menghentikan penggunaan peralatan dan obat-obatan bagi wanita hamil serta pasien yang memerlukan tabung oksigen. Biasanya, rumah sakit tersebut menangani sekitar 100 pasien rawat jalan setiap harinya. Namun, saat ini tidak ada lagi, ujar guru tersebut.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Infrastruktur yang Terdampak<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Selain itu, mereka menyatakan bahwa sistem distribusi air dan pengelolaan limbah di kamp, yang juga mendapatkan bantuan dari organisasi tersebut, turut terpengaruh. Kerabat dari beberapa pasien yang dipulangkan berusaha mencari tabung oksigen untuk dibawa pulang, menurut Bweh Say.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kondisi Pasien<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Sekitar 50 pasien telah dipulangkan. Sementara itu, beberapa pasien dengan kondisi serius masih dirawat di rumah sakit Mae La. Termasuk seorang anak yang baru saja menjalani operasi jantung, kata guru sekolah tersebut, yang meminta namanya tidak disebutkan karena tidak memiliki izin untuk berbicara di depan umum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chucheep Pongchai, gubernur provinsi Tak, menyampaikan kepada media Thailand bahwa pasien dengan kondisi paling parah akan dirujuk ke rumah sakit pemerintah setempat. Ia juga menambahkan bahwa para pejabat telah meminta IRC untuk memanfaatkan peralatan yang mereka miliki.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
