Ia sekaligus merespons peluang calon Menteri Perumahan dari kalangan politikus.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">&#8220;Kami berharap politikus yang tersebut dipilih itu memang benar profesional lalu ahli pada bidangnya,&#8221; kata Iwan ketika ditemui wartawan di dalam Kementerian PUPR, Selasa, 15 Oktober 2024. Sebab, ia berujar, menteri adalah sosok yang mana dengan kemampuannya mampu menerjemahkan harapan dan juga janji presiden.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Bila Menteri Perumahan bukanlah dari kalangan ahli, Iwan was-was akan datang memunculkan masalah. Ia menganalogikan menteri sebagai sopir yang mana mesti lihai di mengemudi.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Tak belaka itu, menurut Iwan, sopir mesti hafal jalan agar tiada tersesat. Artinya, bila tidak ada memenuhi kriteria tersebut, sopir justru sanggup merugikan penumpangnya.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">&#8220;Penumpangnya bukanlah kami, tapi rakyat Indonesia. Mereka yang dirugikan. Kami, PNS, cuma kernet saja,&#8221; kata Iwan. &#8220;Semoga dapat menteri yang tersebut terbaik, yang dimaksud dapat menjalankan amanat ini.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Lebih lanjut ihwal pembentukan Kementerian Perumahan, Iwan mengungkapkan kementerian baru ini akan menciptakan pemerintah lebih tinggi fokus menangani perumahan. Terlebih, ia mengklaim ketika bidang perumahan rakyat masih di bawah Kementerian PUPR selama dua periode Presiden Jokowi, pemerintah telah memiliki tata kelola yang baik.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">&#8220;Banyak capaian yang digunakan berhasil dilakukan. Inisiatif sejuta rumah (program Presiden Jokowi) pun tetap mencapai target,&#8221; kata Iwan.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Sinyal kursi Menteri Perumahan diisi politikus sempat disampaikan Hashim Djojohadikusumo. Adik Prabowo Subianto itu mengatakan nama Fahri Hamzah pada saat membicarakan mengenai perumahan.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Kabar yang dimaksud juga sudah pernah direspons Ketua Harian Partai Gerindra, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, yang dimaksud mengaku mendengar kabar yang disebutkan dari media daring. &#8220;Kalau saya lihat ke media-media online, Pak Hashim ngomong bahwa tugasnya Fahri Hamzah itu akan sangat berat di perumahan,&#8221; kata Dasco pada waktu ditemui di kompleks parlemen Senayan, DKI Jakarta Pusat pada Jumat, 11 Oktober 2024.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Akan tetapi, Dasco enggan menjawab ketika ditanya mengenai sinyal calon menteri, Dasco enggan menjawab.
