Tangerang<\/b><\/span> – Sebanyak 28 atlet nasional akan berlaga di perlombaan Internasional Kasad 6’th Asian Taekwondo Open Championship 2024. Kejuaraan ini dijalankan ke Sport Center Indoor Stadium Serpong, Daerah Tangerang, Banten, Tanah Air pada 13-19 Oktober.<\/p>\n

Ketua Pelaksana Pertemuan Kejuaraan Internasional Kasad 6’th Asian Taekwondo Open Championship, Mayor Jenderal TNI Amrin Ibrahim menyampaikan, dari 28 atlet nasional yang dimaksud mengikuti turnamen ini tiga pada antaranya adalah atlet yang dimaksud sebelumnya tampil di dalam Olimpiade Paris.<\/p>\n

Sementara itu, puluhan atlet perwakilan dari tanah air ini akan berkompetisi dalam beberapa kelas dari cabang kyorugi maupun poomsae. “Untuk atlet nasional kita ada 14 atlet klas kyorugi, juga ada 14 atlet di poomsae untuk mengikuti kompetisi Kejuaraan Internasional Kasad 6’th Asian Taekwondo Open Championship 2024,” katanya, Hari Senin 14 Oktober 2024.<\/p>\n

Ia memaparkan kejuaraan olahraga taekwondo ini seluruhnya disertai oleh 22 negara diantaranya dari beberapa delegasi negara tetangga seperti Negara Malaysia hingga Timur Leste.<\/p>\n

Ia berharap penyelenggaraan perlombaan yang dijalankan dalam Tanah Air untuk pertama kalinya ini dapat dijadikan turnamen tolak ukur keberhasilan pembinaan atlet-atlet taekwondo nasional. “Kita melombakan 16 kelas kyorugi dengan delapan putra juga delapan putri,” ujarnya.<\/p>\n

Turnamen Internasional Kasad 6’th Asian Taekwondo Open Championship, kata dia, juga sekaligus untuk mengawasi perkembangan pembinaan atlet-atlet nasional yang digunakan tergabung pada Pengurus Besar Taekwondo Negara Indonesia (PBTI).<\/p>\n

Sementara itu, Manager Tim Nasional (Timnas) Taekwondo Kelas Kyorugi, Andri Halim mengungkapkan bahwa kompetisi turnamen G2 ini merupakan pertama kalinya dihadiri oleh oleh para atlet nasional. Namun, secara kelas pertandingan dengan G1 secara teknis tak berjauhan berbeda.<\/p>\n

Kendati demikian, Andri optimis para atlet binaannya bisa saja bersaing dengan negara kontestan lain untuk menjuarai kompetisi internasional tersebut. “Saya percaya dengan kesiapan atlet, kita akan dapat raihan secara maksimal. Apa lagi sebagai tuan rumah penyelenggara,” ujarnya.<\/p>\n

Ia menambahkan, atletnya telah menjalani persiapan maksimal. Seluruh jajaran ofisial timnas taekwondo telah dilakukan menjalani persiapan sejak jarak jauh hari.<\/p>\n

“Saat ini kita mengikuti 15 kelas, memang sebenarnya kebetulan kita ada tiga kelas yang tersebut identik diikuti. Tapi Mudah-mudahan dari tiga kelas ini kita mampu menentukan masuk ke final,” ujarnya. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n
