Selain itu, MEDC terus berinovasi untuk menekan produksi emisi Gas Rumah Kaca (GRK) di setiap aktivitas produksinya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Pengembangan Proyek-Proyek Migas<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Sebagai salah satu pemain utama di industri migas swasta nasional dan Asia Tenggara, Medco E&amp;P aktif mengembangkan proyek-proyek migas untuk meningkatkan produksi. Di sisi lain, melalui salah satu anak usahanya, <strong>PT Medco Power Indonesia (Medco Power)<\/strong>, perusahaan juga memperluas fokus pada pengembangan pembangkit listrik energi bersih dan terbarukan, seperti tenaga surya dan panas bumi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Kami juga mengedepankan pengurangan emisi GRK melalui efisiensi energi, pemanfaatan energi terbarukan dalam operasi, dan studi <strong>Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS)<\/strong>,&#8221; ujar Director &amp; Chief Administrative Officer MEDC, Amri Siahaan, dalam keterangan resminya, Jumat (30\/11\/2024).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Peningkatan Efisiensi dan Teknologi<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Menurut Amri, peningkatan efisiensi operasional dan pengembangan teknologi sangat penting untuk memenuhi target kebutuhan energi nasional. Saat ini, MEDC terus berupaya meningkatkan produksi dengan menggunakan teknologi tepat guna dan mendukung transisi energi dengan memanfaatkan bahan bakar fosil yang lebih ramah lingkungan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Pengurangan Emisi dan Teknologi Rendah Karbon<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Selain itu, MEDC sangat peduli dengan upaya pengurangan emisi dan menjajaki teknologi rendah karbon seperti CCS, demi mendukung keberlanjutan dan pertumbuhan ekonomi nasional.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Pengembangan Energi Terbarukan oleh Medco Power<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Chief Financial Officer Medco Power, Myrta Utami, menekankan pentingnya meningkatkan akses energi ramah lingkungan yang stabil untuk mengurangi ketergantungan pada energi fosil. &#8220;Peluang pengembangan energi terbarukan di Indonesia masih sangat besar.
