Hal ini diharapkan dapat berkontribusi pada pertumbuhan mata uang domestik.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kepala Ekonom Bank Permata, Josua Pardede, menjelaskan bahwa saat ini, emas dianggap sebagai aset investasi yang aman dalam menghadapi berbagai ketidakpastian ekonomi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Pembentukan gold bullion bank akan memberikan masyarakat akses yang lebih luas terhadap aset safe haven ini,&#8221; kata Josua saat dihubungi pada Jumat (8\/11\/2024).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Selain itu, Josua menambahkan bahwa keberadaan bank emas ini dapat berfungsi untuk menyeimbangkan likuiditas serta mendukung diversifikasi aset keuangan yang lebih aman.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ia memberikan contoh beberapa negara yang telah lebih dahulu mendirikan bank emas, seperti Amerika Serikat, China, dan Inggris. Di negara-negara tersebut, bank emas juga berperan dalam memfasilitasi perdagangan dan pembiayaan emas di tingkat internasional.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Inggris, contohnya, telah mengembangkan London Bullion Market Association (LBMA) menjadi pusat perdagangan emas global yang berpengaruh besar terhadap harga emas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sementara itu, di Asia, China dan India juga telah membangun pasar bullion domestik mereka dengan melibatkan bank bullion dalam aktivitas perdagangan serta menawarkan produk keuangan yang berbasis emas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/images.bloombergtechnoz.com\/data\/2024\/07\/image-20240716150847.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Ini merupakan contoh yang sangat baik tentang cara mengoptimalkan cadangan emas,&#8221; ujar Josua.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Regulasi yang Kuat Diperlukan<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Josua menekankan bahwa dalam proses pembentukan bank emas, pemerintah perlu merumuskan undang-undang yang tegas dan jelas. Undang-undang ini harus mencakup peran otoritas keuangan, jenis produk berbasis emas yang diperbolehkan, serta persyaratan lisensi yang ketat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Langkah ini penting untuk memastikan bahwa perusahaan atau lembaga yang terlibat dalam bank emas dapat beroperasi dengan baik.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Regulasi ini harus menjamin bahwa GBB dapat berfungsi secara transparan dan efisien, serta mampu menjaga stabilitas harga emas domestik dengan mengelola pasokan dan permintaan secara bijaksana.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sebelumnya, pemerintah melalui Kementerian BUMN telah mendorong beberapa perusahaan milik negara untuk segera berkolaborasi dalam pembentukan bank emas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dorongan ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan peningkatan nilai tambah serta mendorong integrasi ekosistem dalam sektor komoditas emas yang saat ini dimiliki oleh Indonesia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Kami akan berupaya untuk mendorong lebih lanjut di tingkat pemerintahan, kebetulan kami memiliki beberapa entitas seperti PT Pegadaian, Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI), dan Bank BRI.
