Menurut dia, untuk menambah kapasitas penumpang di dalam Bandara Soekarno-Hatta dapat dilaksanakan dengan memperbaiki Terminal 1, 2, serta 3.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cKan memang sebenarnya kita harus pastikan seluruh proyek itu efisien, tolok ukurnya jelas, bukanlah pemborosan. Oleh lantaran itu, Terminal 4 kami mengambil keputusan dibatalkan,\u201d ucapannya pada waktu ditemui pada Pelataran Komplek DPR RI Senayan, Senin, 4 November 2024.<\/p>\n<p>Rencana penyelenggaraan Terminal 4 ini sudah pernah mengemuka sejak masa pemerintahan Presiden Joko Widodo pada 2019. Pembangunan Terminal 4 ini disebut-sebut akan menelan anggaran sebesar Mata Uang Rupiah 14 triliun.<\/p>\n<p>Erick Thohir mengatakan, setelahnya ia melakukan kajian, konstruksi Terminal 4 ia anggap tak perlu dilakukan. Sebab, upaya menambah kapasitas penumpang dapat dilaksanakan dengan memperbaiki Terminal 1, 2, juga 3 yang digunakan memakan anggaran kurang lebih lanjut Simbol Rupiah 1 triliun.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTerminal 1,2,3 ini kita bisa jadi maksimalkan dengan memperbaiki daripada jalur juga space-space atau ruangan-ruangan yang mana tadinya kemungkinan besar sanggup dimaksimalkan itu kita coba lakukan,\u201d kata dia.<\/p>\n<p>Ia mengatakan, Kementerian BUMN berupaya untuk melakukan efisiensi agar proyek-proyek yang tersebut dikerjakan benar-benar terukur juga terhindar dari penyelewengan.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cJangan di dalam BUMN cuma mikirin proyek-proyek-proyek, tapi akhirnya nanti ada kasus-kasus korupsi, itu yang dimaksud kita coba tangani selama 5 tahun terakhir ini,\u201d ucap Erick Thohir.<\/p>\n<p>Sebelumnya, Presiden Jokowi memiliki target konstruksi Terminal 4 Bandara Soekarno-Hatta rampung pada 2021. Dengan begitu, kapasitas penumpang di dalam Bandara Soekarno Hatta dapat mencapai 110 jt penumpang per tahun.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTotal nanti kami harapkan pada di tempat ini sanggup menampung 110 jt penumpang dengan plus terminal ke 4. Ini adalah memang benar peningkatan penerbangan cepat sekali,&#8221; kata Jokowi usai meninjau proyek runway 3 Bandara Soekarno-Hatta di Tangerang, Jumat, 21 Juni 2019.<\/p>\n<p>Selain mendirikan Terminal 4 untuk meningkatkan kapasitas penumpang, pproyek untuk pergerakan pesawat juga dilakukan. Misalnya, <em>runway<\/em> 3 Bandara Soekarno-Hatta yang digunakan ditargetkan selesai 100 persen pada bulan ini. Kemudian, <em>east cross taxiway<\/em> (ECT) yang mana ditargetkan dapat digunakan pada pertengahan 2019.<\/p>\n<p>Jokowi mengatakan, konstruksi infrastruktur bandara yang digunakan cepat amat diperlukan. &#8220;Kalau pembangunan <em>runway<\/em>, <em>east cross taxiway<\/em> tidaklah dikejar, pembangunan terminal enggak dikejar, ya kita keduluan lagi. Kita engga mau itu terjadi.
