Atau emisi yang dikeluarkan dikompensasi dengan pembelian kredit karbon sehingga bermetamorfosis menjadi netral karbon. Pertamina NRE sebagai penjual kredit karbon sudah pernah memperdagangkan kredit karbon ke banyak pelaksana acara atau kegiatan.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Corporate Secretary Pertamina NRE Dicky Septriadi mengatakan, &ldquo;Kami berharap kampanye carbon neutral event ini dapat mengedukasi juga menginspirasi rakyat untuk turut membantu upaya penurunan emisi karbon secara konkret, yaitu salah satunya mengompensasi emisi karbon yang digunakan dikeluarkan pada penyelenggaraan acara dengan membeli kredit karbon.&rdquo;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Hingga periode Oktober 2024, Pertamina NRE telah terjadi menggalang penyediaan kredit karbon untuk mengompensasi emisi karbon yang mana dikeluarkan pada banyak acara atau kegiatan , antara lain Anugerah Jurnalistik Pertamina 2024 untuk wilayah Jawa Barat, Pameran ESG yang tersebut diselenggarakan oleh PT Pertamina Bina Medika, kegiatan Pertamina Goes to Campus (PGTC) di Universitas Riau (Unri), Indonesia Millenial and Gen-Z Summit yang diselenggarakan oleh IDN Times, dan juga peluncuran acara BBM Satu Harga di empat provinsi dalam Indonesia.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Kredit karbon yang mana diperdagangkan Pertamina NRE bersumber dari Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Panas bumi (PLTP) Area Lahendong Unit 5 kemudian 6 yang mana telah miliki Sertifikat Pengurangan Emisi Gas Rumah Kaca (SPE GRK). Artinya, dengan membeli kredit karbon dari Pertamina NRE maka turut membantu pengembangan energi panas bumi yang merupakan energi hijau.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dicky menambahkan bahwa komitmen Pertamina NRE untuk menerapkan prinsip berkelanjutan diwujudkan ke seluruh aspek bidang usaha perusahaan.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&ldquo;Dalam setiap kegiatan, kami akan bantu hitung peluang emisi karbon yang digunakan dihasilkan, emisi yang digunakan dihasilkan dari transportasi yang tersebut digunakan oleh kontestan kegiatan, pemakaian listrik, air, gas hingga limbah yang dihasilkan selama penyelenggaraan acara. untuk selanjutnya , emisi yang mana sudah pernah dihitung yang disebutkan dikompensasi dengan sebagian unit kredit karbon yang dimaksud kami sediakan untuk di offset,&rdquo; katanya.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Kegiatan Anugerah Jurnalistik Pertamina 2024 Jawa Barat berubah menjadi salah satu contoh penerapan carbon neutral event yang tersebut didukung Pertamina NRE. Melalui konsep ini, seluruh emisi karbon yang dihasilkan dari acara yang disebutkan dihitung secara cermat, mulai dari pemakaian energi, transportasi, hingga konsumsi barang yang tersebut berisiko menciptakan emisi. Setelah itu, total emisi yang disebutkan dikompensasikan melalui pembelian kredit karbon.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Vice President Corporate Communication PT Pertamina (Persero), Fadjar Djoko Santoso menambahkan bahwa pihaknya menggalakkan dekarbonisasi di bervariasi aktivitas perusahaan. Hal ini merupakan wujud komitmen lalu upaya Pertamina mengejar target Net Zero Emission 2060.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;Salah satu strategi Pertamina pada menyokong tercapainya NZE adalah melalui inisiatif carbon neutral lalu perdagangan karbon. Kami berharap, carbon neutral event ini dapat dimanfaatkan oleh seluruh pihak untuk melakukan dekarbonisasi yang mana lebih besar masif,&#8221; ujar Fadjar.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ke depan, Pertamina NRE akan menambah jumlah kredit karbon dari sumber energi bersih yang lain, yaitu Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Biogas (PLTBg). Aksi ini sejalan dengan komitmen Pertamina untuk menyokong target pemerintah di mencapai net zero emission (NZE) pada tahun 2060.
