Serah terima jabatan berlangsung dalam Kantor Pusat Kementerian Agama RI, Jalan Lapangan Banteng, Jakarta.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Hari ini kita menyambut pemimpin baru yang digunakan akan menahkodai Kementerian Agama, Prof. Dr. KH. Nasaruddin Umar. Kita semua pasti sudah ada paham bagaimana kapasitas, kapabilitas serta seluruh prestasi yang dimaksud sudah ada dicapai oleh beliau. Jadi kalau bahasa kita Menteri Agama ini bukanlah Menteri Agama kaleng-kaleng,&#8221; tutur Gus Yaqut, panggilan akrabnya, Hari Senin (21\/10\/2024).<\/p>\n<p>Serah terima jabatan ini menyusul selesainya masa tugas Kabinet Negara Indonesia Maju yang dipimpin Presiden ke-7 RI Joko Widodo juga diteruskan oleh Kabinet Merah Putih yang tersebut dipimpin Presiden Prabowo Subianto. Hadir pada acara tersebut, Penasehat Dharma Wanita Persatuan (DWP) Kemenag Periode 2020-2024, Eny Retno Purwaningtyas, Penasehat DWP Kemenag Periode 2024-2029, Helmi Halimatul Udhma, dan juga jajaran Pejabat Eselon I juga II Kemenag.<\/p>\n<p>                  <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Gus Yaqut juga menjelaskan, bahwa Nasaruddin Umar telah pernah menjabat sebagai Wakil Menteri Agama RI periode 2011-2014. Sebelumnya, Nasaruddin juga pernah menjabat sebagai Direktur Jenderal Bimas Islam Kemenag.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Jadi track-nya ini telah benar. Kita semua mendapatkan anugerah pemimpin yang tersebut luar biasa kecakapannya, luar biasa lengkap track record-nya. Jadi saya kira kita semua patut optimis bahwa Kementerian Agama akan sangat jauh lebih tinggi baik,&#8221; ungkap Gus Yaqut.<\/p>\n<p>Sebagai Menag ke-25, Nasaruddin Umar juga turut mengapresiasi kepemimpinan Gus Yaqut sebagai Menag ke-24. Menurut Nasaruddin, selain muda, Gus Yaqut juga memiliki kemampuan sosial yang dimaksud sangat baik.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Menteri agama yang mana paling muda yang tersebut pernah menjadi pemimpin kementerian ini adalah Gus Yaqut. Meskipun muda, tetapi ada satu keunggulan dari beliau yang tersebut susah ditiru oleh pemukim lain. Yaitu kemampuan human relation-nya ini sangat bagus,&#8221; kata Nasaruddin.<\/p>\n<p>Ia juga mengapresiasi capaian Kementerian Agama ke bawah kepemimpinan Gus Yaqut. Nasaruddin mengutarakan bahwa Gus Yaqut sudah mampu merawat kedamaian kemudian kesejukan keberadaan umat beragama pada Indonesia.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Prestasi yang paling gemilang oleh Adinda (Gus Yaqut) adalah stabilitas hidup beragama. Kita tidaklah menemukan ada gejolak-gejolak keagamaan yang mana besar. Di bawah kepemimpinan beliau, dapat kita lihat kesejukan antar umat beragama, antar mazhab, antara umat beragama dengan pemerintah.
